Steel Castings
Discuss custom carbon steel, alloy steel and stainless steel components with Hengsheng. Start with the material grade, service conditions and finished-part drawing.

Select the material by application
Strength, impact behaviour, operating temperature and corrosion exposure all influence material selection. Supply the precise grade and standard you require; nominally similar international grades should not be treated as interchangeable without review.
Design around the finished component
Identify load-bearing sections, mating faces, holes and machined datums. Wall transitions, draft, machining allowances and heat treatment should be considered together when reviewing a cast component.
Agree acceptance before production
Include dimensional acceptance, material documentation and any non-destructive testing requirements in the request for quotation. Availability, test scope and acceptance criteria are confirmed for each order.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which steel should I specify?+
Use the grade required by your design. Carbon steel, alloy steel and stainless steel behave differently; tell us the applicable standard and service conditions for review.
Are cast and machined dimensions the same?+
No. Casting tolerances and machined tolerances are different. Mark the finished dimensions and the surfaces that need machining on your drawing.
